Techart Porsche 911 GTstreet R

TechArt has released GT street Porsche 911 Turbo during the Essen Motor Show. These arrangements add up to something like this: a 3.6-litre twin-turbo engine boosted from the standard 473hp (480PS/ 353kW) to 650hp (660PS/ 485kW). That's correct, 600 horses plus another 50 for full effect. The car able to produce 860Nm of torque. Besides that, the car able to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 3.4 seconds and has a top speed of 340km/h. These numbers are thanks mostly to an improved sports air filter, large carbon fiber inlet pipes, special intercoolers, a sports exhaust system, Tiptronic S gearbox and of course those shiny new turbos.

For the exterior, TechArt added looks to the tune of side carbon flics, headlight trims, sill panels, a rear spoiler, rear apron, aero bonnet and front bumper with carbon fiber splitter. The car is fitted with a set of TECHART Formula III forged light metal wheels, one-piece front 8.5Jx20 with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup Plus tyres in dimensions 245/30 ZR 20, back 12Jx20 with 315/25 R 20.

Eibach Dodge Challenger

During Essen Motorshow, Eibach has released a body kit for the Dodge Challenger. The SRT8 was imported for Eibach by USCars24.de and converted according to the applicable German lighting and licensing regulations. The stock 6.1L Hemi V8 engine is still remain that capable to produce 425hp, Eibach equipped the Challenger with the Coil-Over Suspension System Multi-Pro-R2 from its US product portfolio as well as a set of Botticelli III 22-inch alloy wheels from O.Z. wrapped around in Toyo Proxes T1R tires for improved handling.

The The Eibach Challenger is also equipped with a multimedia unit from Alpine Electronics, which has been installed by the specialists of XTON from Dortmund, Germany.

ABT Scirocco heads to Essen

ABT has released their new Sirocco during the Essen Motor Show. The complete Upgrade Kit consists of the design pack, the 4-pipe rear muffler, the springs and complete wheel sets (19 inch AR alloys, diamond-machined and black, plus tyres and wheel spacers) is available at the launch of the ABT Scirocco in January 2009 for a reasonable 5,990 Euros.

Anything that has such dynamic charisma must also have convincing performance. ABT has therefore also developed power refinements for the VW engine. The 1.4 TSI now offers 200 hp (147 kW) on the road with ABT Power instead of 160 hp (118 kW), and the turbo diesel with two litre capacity 170 hp / 125 kW (standard: 140 hp / 103kW) The ABT Scirocco will be available with these upgrades from the start. Later on in the year the compact sports coupe will also be available with an increased-power 2.0 TSI. With it the car has
240 hp / 177 kW (standard: 200 hp / 147 kW).

The brake pads of the ABT Braking system are able to cope with any situation, and with a diameter of 345 mm always grip powerfully. As is normal at ABT, all the details fit perfectly together and thereby result in a fascinating top range car. You can see that it comes from the very top of the range and want to drive it straight off.

Audi R8 GT3 Racer

During Essen Motor Show, Audi has released the Audi R8 GT3 Racer. The Audi R8 GT3 is specifically developed for customer teams. The car is able to produce more than 500hp. At Essen, Audi will also present the Audi RS 6 Sedan and Audi TTS Coupe, the Audi S3, the Audi S4, Audi Q5 3.0 TDI Quattro, Audi Q7 V12 quattro and the Audi A5 Coupe 2.0 T Quattro.

2009 MINI Cooper Cabrio

BMW has take the opportunity to launch the second generation MINI Cabrio during the North America International Auto Show. The Cooper ragtop is priced at €22,500 while the Cooper S convertible costs €4,000 more. The car is be equipped with a 1.6L engine which capable to produce 120hp for the NA version and 160hp for the turbo engine version. Turbo will only equipped to the MINI Cooper S.

The Euro-market cars get BMW Efficient Dynamics features including brake regeneration and stop/start. For the exterior, the fold-down tailgate's hinges are now internal, giving the car's tush a smoother look. The fixed roll hoops of the current car have been replaced by a pop-up system behind the back seat. This makes for a good-looking, clean top-down profile and should improve rearward visibility for the driver. Speaking of the top, it can be operated at speeds up to 9 mph or so. The sliding sunroof feature can be utilized at even higher speeds -- up to 60 mph or so. Stability control is standard equipment.

Back into the interior, the current MINI instrument panel is employed, and drivers with a hankering for extraneous gimmickery can order up the Always-Open timer, a secondary gauge that mounts next to the tach. It monitors how much time you clock with the top down.

Steinmetz Opel Insignia styling package

Steinmetz a giant tuner from German has released styling package for the new Opel Insignia. The complete styling package from Steinmetz consists of a blacked-out front grille, front and rear spoilers, twin-tailpipes and body stripes. A set of 20 inch alloy wheels is also included in the styling package. The package can be complemented with a lowering kit for a more aggressive stance.
