A six-speed automatic comes as standard. Besides that, there is also a 237hp (177kW) version of the 3.0L engine available, which produces 16% more power and a 15% increase in torque over the 2.7L diesel, allowing the XF to reach 60mph in 6.7 seconds and a top speed of 149mph. Fuel economy and emissions are similar to the more powerful unit.
